Expand Six Nations to generate extra income

THE recommendation from Bernard Laporte for a Club World Cup is a non starter, especially if it’s only to be played every three out of four years (no tournament in a World Cup year).
Any such competition has to be either every year, biannual or every four years.
Understandably club chairmen have voiced their concerns over World Rugby controlling a club competition, so could the following be a way forward in helping to bring more finance into the game: go from a Six Nations to a Ten Nations.
