Tigers’ Cup winners produced a brains trust of talent

THERE was more retro heaven recently with BT Sport replaying Leicester’s 34-30 Heineken Cup final win over Stade Francais in 2001.
It was an absolute belter and for good measure there was the 2002 final against Munster to follow.
But what struck me most was the incredible rugby brains trust Tigers possessed on the pitch.
Front rowers Graham Rowntree, Dorian West and Richard Cockerill all became successful coaches, Martin Johnson coached England and
Ben Kay is one of the leading pundits.
