Brutality in Argentina

A GANG of young rugby players have been found guilty of murder in Buenos Aires.
Law student Fernando Baez, 19, was brutally killed after coming out of a night club in Villa Gessel in February.
After a month’s trial the players were condemned to lengthy prison terms. Two of the ten had been provisionally freed, but their parents did not accept their being given home arrest.
The judge said that the gang knew perfectly well what they were doing in a calculated and cold-blooded way which amounted to a human hunt.
World Rugby vice-chairman Agustin Pichot was fully behind the verdict.
