THE rearranged Olympic Games – rescheduled for July 23-August 8 2021 – now clash badly with the 2021 Lions tour with all three Test matches taking place within that date but c’est la vie. It can’t be avoided and there are more serious matters to consider.
With the possible exception of Sevens King Cheslin Kolbe I doubt if any of those likely to be involved in the Lions series on either side harboured any Olympic ambitions, either this year or next.
