Grass-roots being let down by RFU

I HAVE now seen the support packages released by the RFU.
The first two measures are early release of monies, not new money, the third is new money of £400k equivalent to £200 a club that needs match funding, the fourth is relief of interest on RFU loans for those that have them again equivalent to some £170 a club on average. The fifth is a loan scheme that will need paying back.
This is not a game changer for any club and of the £7m listed only a very small proportion of that is new money that is not repaid back. The headline is misleading.
