LESS than six months ago Phil Davies and his Namibian coaching team were preparing to face the All Blacks at the World Cup, yet now they are facing totally different challenges.
Davies and his former Wales team mate Wayne Proctor are involved with Yorkshire Carnegie in the Championship, Mark Jones has teamed up with the Crusaders in Christchurch, and Dale McIntosh is back with Merthyr in the Welsh Premiership.

Davies returned to help out at Carnegie on a short term contract to try to keep them afloat in the Championship.
