Poor selection for Paris came back to bite England

WHEN Eddie Jones began coaching England I thought that he had cured the previous malaise of poor selection, now I think we are back to square one.
Against France, George Furbank looked way out of his depth and reminded me of Mathew Tait on that bad day in Cardiff in 2005. Why not use Chris Ashton, good at fullback, experienced and a proven try scorer – let’s hope Eddie isn’t already thinking of the next World Cup.
