Disrespectful to ditch silver medals

LIKE all England supporters I was disap -pointed to lose the RWC final and I fully understand the frustration and disappointment of the players, but to refuse to wear your runners- up medal is unacceptable. It is disrespectful to the worthy winners South Africa.
What image and message does this send to youngsters watching the game?
The All Blacks, to a man, wore their third place medals with pride. These players, for all they have achieved need to show some humility and respect in defeat.
