YORKSHIRE Carnegie bought their way out of the relegation zone and then went bankrupt.
Hartpury College borrowed their way out – 13 players for one match – all at the expense of Richmond, a fine complete rugby club, who for the record won three out of their last four games, against Nottingham, Ealing Trailfinders and London Scottish.
