Cost of loyalty may come at high price

WITH Mike Ford on the coaching panel and Pat Howard confirmed as a coaching mentor, I wonder how long Geordan Murphy will be given in the top job at Leicester.
Club executives have made all the right noises about standing behind Murphy despite Leicester’s appalling 11th place finish, but how long he remains in position is anyone’s guess.
It will be interesting to see what happens if they continue to flounder under Murphy’s rule. Especially if and when a buyer for the club is found.
If Howard or Ford fancy the top job, their experience could sway the decision.
