COLIN Boag’s article in TRP May 5 is headed ‘the RFU should have no role to play in the pro game’. Colin cannot be serious!
No other union in world rugby would consider entrusting their domestic game to 12 ‘elite’ clubs whose interests often conflict with not only the grassroots, but the national side. Such a policy would be disastrous.
