Let best of Britain & Ireland slug it out

LAST week’s letter about ringfencing the Premiership is exactly what I would suggest.
Have a plan to increase the Premiership to 16 teams over a 5-10 year period, with teams like Coventry able to bid for a spot based on sound business plans.
The only difference I would make would be to reduce the number of matches to 18, home and away in the group (6), home or away against the rest (12).
Mind you, there was also the article about CVC and the PRO14.
Maybe a full British & Irish ringfenced league is the way forward.
