WOULDanyone be able to explain to me why Faf de Klerk was not sent off for his tackle on Billy Twelvetrees last Saturday? Not cited either.
It looked a clear cut, no arm tackle and a head butt to the chin –Danny Cipriani’s Munster ‘tackle’ clearly wasn’t a trend setter. Before the ‘one eyed Gloucester’ accusations start, I will say that, whatever the source of the evidence, Owen Williams making contact with a Newcastle player’s eye was surely worthy of further action too.
