Is Meville wavering over ring-fence?

RFU’s interim chief executive, Nigel Melville, confirmed that relegation from the Premiership would remain for this season.
For Melville to even think that moving the promotion/relegation goalposts halfway through a season was worth commenting on shows how the RFU are running scared of their Premiership clubs.
