Get rid of the body armour and teach kids how to tackle

THE rise in head incidents in the game have been brought about inadvertently by the law makers.
They allowed protective gear on the body which gives players a false sense of security and encourages them to go in harder than if they didn’t wear shoulder pads.
As a result a lot of players do not know how to tackle properly and bring a player to ground. Law makers also decided that if a player was held up and the ball became unplayable then it was turnover ball. Crazy.
