Eddie’s done a fine job but selection’s become puzzling

EDDIE Jones has turned England into potential World Cup winners in Japan. However, I agree with Brendan Gallagher (31.12.17 edition) that his treatment of Danny Cipriani is “inexplicable, illogical and frankly absurd”.
Cipriani is a class act who is in superb form and he should be at the very least, an impact player. Some players, in particular Dylan Hartley, are so poor at the moment that they are not even first choice players in their club.
