Costly shortage of top-flight action north of Gloucester

I AM chairman of Eccleshall RUFC, a small community rugby club in Staffordshire.
I have tried to highlight to the powers that be that they, I suspect inadvertently, have taken away a significant fundraising opportunity for our club and I suspect many other clubs by scheduling no Premiership games in the Midlands/North West between Christmas and New Year.
