Not convinced Warren has enhanced his reputation

Vindicated? Lions head coach Warren Gatland

With the Lions tour over, the post mortems start. Writing before yesterday’s final Test, the Guardian’s Paul Rees argued that, win or lose, Warren Gatland would come out of the tour with his reputation enhanced, but I confess to being mystified by that view. It is a fact, however, that Gatland’s reputation was in need of some repair after some very moderate Six Nations performances from Wales in recent years.
