Future of Lions rests with global season

I AGREE that the future of the Lions is in serious doubt.
There was a great opportunity to support them when World Rugby made changes to the international calendar earlier this year, but they failed.
Bath owner Bruce Craig had a great idea of separating international and club rugby, and this opportunity should have been taken up.
It would have meant everybody making sacrifices, but would have meant, a better product overall.
My plan, using Craig’s idea would be:-
1. Move July and November Test windows to one block of seven weeks September- October (the same time as the RWC).
