McGuigan to leave coaching role at Sale

BYRON McGuigan, who was part of England’s coaching set-up during the Six Nations, is to leave his role as Sale Sharks defence coach.
McGuigan, 36, joined Steve Borthwick’s back room team for last summer’s tour to Argentina and the USA before extending into the autumn internationals and the Six Nations.
He combined that role with his work at Sale, but an agreement has been reached with director of rugby Alex Sanderson for him to “pursue other opportunities”.
