Australia chief exec resigns

RUGBY Australia chief executive Raelene Castle has resigned after tenformer Wallabies captains signed a letter demanding a change in leadership.
She steps down amid a financial crisis in Australian Rugby Union that has been compounded by the coronavirus pandemic.
“It has been made clear to me that the board believes my no longer being the CEO would help give them the clear air they believe they need,” Castle said.
Nick Farr-Jones and George Gregan were among the ten to sign the letter.
Castle had taken a 50 per cent pay cut and laid off 75 per cent of Rugby Australia ...
