Blues keen to lure loosehead Heyes away from Leicester

CARDIFF Blues are interested in signing Leicester loosehead Joe Heyes. The England U20 prop is Welsh qualified and highly rated by struggling Tigers, but Blues hope to persuade him to move to Wales.
Heyes, 20, has an escape clause in his Tigers contract should they be relegated from the Premiership. Cardiff head coach John Mulvihill is desperate to strengthen his front five and has said there are a number of Welsh qualified forwards playing in England who have caught his eye – Heyes is one of them.
