LEICESTER have provoked a turf war with Worcester over plans to relocate one of their player development centres to Stourbridge RFC – just 19 miles from Sixways.
Tigers currently have one of their Developing Player Programmes based in Walsall but wish to take advantage of an academy boundary loophole by shifting it south to Stourbridge, whose out-of-town Stourton Park ground lies a mile inside Leicester’s Staffordshire territory.
