Falcons get court threat over Matavesi

NEWCASTLE Falcons have been threatened with legal action by the Ospreys over their alleged failure to pay the full £150,000 transfer fee for Fijian centre Josh Matavesi.
In a week when the Welsh club confirmed Dan Biggar’s exit to Northampton next season, it can be revealed that they took the unusual step of serving a statutory demand on Newcastle in respect of the overdue amount, believed to be £80,000.
