Hybrid players get Ford’s vote

GEORGE Ford has welcomed the emergence of England’s hybrid players – but warned one size does not fit all.
The England fly-half has recently played with two career back rows Ben Earl, below left, and Henry Pollock, below right, playing at centre and wing respectively at the end of games.
England head coach Steve Borthwick is on the hunt for players who can fill in in more than one position with one eye on next year’s World Cup and its cap, 33, on the number of players in each squad.
