Weston puts his retirement on back burner

OLD Redcliffians No.8 Jack Weston admits his return from retirement has come quicker, and at a higher level, than he anticipated after being thrust into National Two West action.
The back rower retired three years ago to move into coaching, initially at Chipping Sodbury before a chat with Old Reds boss Dan Cox opened the door for a fresh challenge.
Initially involved off the field, Weston’s playing return came unexpectedly but has made four appearances this season in his first taste of the National Leagues.
