Rossendale’s Whelan knows there’s been a lot to learn

ROSSENDALE scrum-half Callum Whelan admits National 2 North has been a steep but welcome learning curve as the Lancashire club battle to secure their status.
Despite finding themselves in the relegation zone after 16 rounds, Whelan has relished the step up in standards, even as Rossendale continue to scrap for points in a congested battle for survival.
