You can’t blame players going to England, says Patterson

CARDIFF Met centre Gus Patterson admits that for many young Welsh players, moving away to England offers security that can’t be offered by Welsh rugby.
Patterson, 22, is a former Ospreys academy member and has been the top performer for Met this season as Archers sit seventh towards the back of the play-off contenders.
The Bridgend Athletic one-club man acknowledged what had drawn senior internationals to move over the bridge.
