Newcastle Red Bulls have re-signed England A full-back Josh Hodge from Exeter Chiefs on a three-year contract.

Hodge, 25, who left Newcastle five years ago to move to the Chiefs, will return to the north east next season, saying he has “unfinished business” with the club.
It is another statement of intent from the ambitious Red Bulls, who confirmed the signing of All Blacks No.8 Hoskins Sotutu from Blues last week and this week announced the capture of the Argentinian former Exeter lock Franco Molina for the start of next season from Western Force.
