Titans Rich in form yet points machine won’t let vision haze

ROTHERHAM versatile back Richard Hayes insists the Titans will not get ahead of themselves despite sitting top of National One but believes the club is finally building the consistency needed to return to The Champ.
An impressive opening of nine victories from 11 outings has put the South Yorkshire side firmly in the title picture, but centre/fly-half Hayes, 34, who was the league’s top points scorer (114) ahead of round 12, stressed how tight the division remains with five points separating first and fifth heading into this weekend’s fixtures.
