AFTER the upheaval over the £1.1m remuneration paid to RFU chief executive Bill Sweeney in 2023-24, including a £358,000 LTIP bonus (long-term incentive plan) in a year in which the RFU lost £40m, it is to be hoped that a more prudent path has been charted before this year’s RFU Annual Report is made public.
