Hughes moving to coaching role

FORMER Scarlets and Dragons centre Steff Hughes has retired aged 31 to concentrate on coaching. The former Wales Under-20 cap made his senior debut for Scarlets in 2013, going on to make 104 appearances for the region. He was part of the team that won the PRO14 title in 2014 and captained the side for two season between 2019 and 2021.
In 2022 Hughes, below, joined Dragons and was made captain for the 2023-24 season. He left Wales in November 2024 to become a player-coach role with Old Glory DC in Major League Rugby in the USA.
