James Forrester has been blown away by the progress England have made and feels Steve Borthwick has nailed his back row balance.

Forrester, 44, who is now Gloucester’s commercial sales director, won two caps for England at No.8 in 2005 against Wales and Samoa – both alongside Borthwick.
Borthwick’s position looked under threat at the beginning of the year after a comprehensive loss to Ireland made it just two wins from their previous nine – with both coming against Japan; however, England came into yesterday’s match against New Zealand off the back of nine wins on the spin.
