Blow for Bath as Muir sent for ankle surgery

BATH and England winger Will Muir is to have surgery on his ankle and is set to be out for a number of weeks.
Muir, 28, has yet to play for Bath this season after picking up the injury during the pre-season win against Worcester Warriors last month.
The 28-year-old, below, won his first England caps this summer during the successful tour to Argentina and was Bath’s top try scorer last season.
He was initially described as having a “minor injury” but surgery has now been decided as the best course of action.
