Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend faces several selection dilemmas before announcing his squad for the Autumn Nations Series on Tuesday with question marks over some key players heading into Tests with USA, New Zealand, Argentina and Tonga.
Townsend will be deprived of as many as 20 players for the opening Test against USA on November 1, with the game outside the official Test window.
