Dowson concern for injured Freeman

NORTHAMPTON boss Phil Dowson reported England wing Tommy Freeman had suffered a bruised hip which forced him off after half-time.
Dowson hopes it will not prove serious but warned he would need a doctor’s update on Monday: “It’s like a dead leg but on his hip and is incredibly painful.”
Overall, Dowson praised the return of Freeman and his three other Lions in Alex Mitchell, Fin Smith and substitute Henry Pollock.
“Our endeavour and effort were there but we were also a bit rusty. Our ambition to play rugby got us through in the end.”
