IN a pulsating contest, Cambridge narrowly missed out on a famous victory, going down narrowly to a resilient Ulster side thanks to Johnny Scott’s late try.
A bumper crowd of 1,108 cheered the Blood & Sand onto what looked like a historic triumph over the Northern Irishman, only for late heartbreak to ensue.
Ulster opened the scoring early on through Henry Walker and kept the pressure on throughout, but Cambridge showed tremendous fight and skill to keep the visitors at bay for large spells.
