AFTER spells in the west country and west Wales, Ioan Lloyd is back home and relishing the experience.
Born and bred in Cardiff, Lloyd, right, came up through the local pathway at schools and regional age grade level.
Then, at 16, he headed across the bridge to study at Clifton College which led to a four-year spell at Bristol Bears, followed by two seasons at the Scarlets.
But now he’s back wearing the Cardiff colours he last donned at U16s, having switched to the Arms Park over the summer.
