Matt Sherratt is boosted by recruitment drive at Cardiff

Cardiff coach Matt Sherratt says it’s a massive boost to have retained Taulupe Faletau and Josh Adams as the club look to go a step further than last season.

He’s also pleased with a recruitment drive which has seen Welsh internationals Taine Basham, Ioan Lloyd and Sam Wainwright come on board, along with Scotland prop Javan Sebastian and seasoned second row George Nott.
It had been expected that the 109-cap Faletau might well move on from the Arms Park at the end of last season. But, in the end, the 34-year-old No.8 signed a contract extension, as did 63cap winger Adams.
