I’ll be honest, England’s summer was a bit of a shock. A great one, but still unexpected. After the opening Lions game, most people – myself included – probably thought it was going to be a tough tour in Argentina.
But to come away with a series victory like that was just awesome. It’s put England in really good stead, especially with so many players away with the Lions. I was really impressed.
George Ford in particular proved he’s far from done. He was absolutely brilliant. Owen Farrell coming back in and doing well on the Lions tour adds to the excitement.
