Owen Farrell looks set for a return to the Premiership after expressing a wish to leave Racing 92 one year into his contract.
Former England skipper Farrell joined Racing last summer on a two-year deal. Injuries have blighted his season and director of rugby Stuart Lancaster was axed midway through the campaign.
The 33-year-old has been linked with a return to Mark McCall’s Saracens, where he could potentially take on a player-coach role.
Leicester are also in the market for a top Springbok fly-half with Handre Pollard leaving at the end of the season.
