Priday gave life service to Cardiff

ALUN Priday made his debut for Cardiff against Harlequins in January 1953, a year which would end with victory over New Zealand, vindication of the club’s grandiose description of itself as ‘The Greatest.’ And so began a one-club career like no other since Webb Ellis ran off with the football at Rugby School.
