Lions assistant coach Andrew Goodman is aiming to bite the hand that once fed him when he goes head-to-head with Wallaby boss Joe Schmidt this summer.
Goodman admits he would never be in the position he is if it was not for Schmidt signing him for a stint as a player at Leinster back in 2012 to play alongside the likes of Brian O’Driscoll.
Prior to that, Goodman, a centre, had been playing in New Zealand’s provincial championship, for Tasman and had stints working as a teacher and a rugby development officer.
