AUSTRALIA were crowned champions of WXV2 after a late flurry of tries against Scotland, who ensured qualification for next year’s World Cup with second place.
Scotland were reduced to 13 players at the death and captain Rachel Malcolm said: “We could have had the game put away a long time before those cards came into play. This tournament has been up and down for us, but we’ve built a decent foundation to move forward with.”
