All-action Malolo leads way for Samoa

MOANA Pasifika hooker Sama Malolo stole the show as Samoa all but confirmed their place in the PNC semi-finals with a convincing 43-17 win over Tonga in Apia on Friday.
Malolo did everything but score in an all-action display in defence and attack – and should have had a try when he was tackled off the ball with the line at his mercy.
Instead, it was left to sevens star Tuna Tuitama and openside Izaiha Moore-Aiono to bag two tries apiece after Stacey Ili got Samoa’s first after 18 error-strewn minutes.
