Wiese likely to stay at Leicester

JASPER Wiese has turned down the chance of moving to Stade Francais and is close to agreeing to a new long-term deal to remain with Leicester Tigers.
The Springbok World Cup winner, left, held talks with the Paris-based outfit when he was in France, and they were confident that he was on the verge of agreeing to join them. But the 28-year-old, who helped Tigers win a Premiership crown in 2022, has had a change of mind and now looks like staying at Welford Road, which will be a huge boost for the Tigers plans for next season.
