HINCKLEY left it late before finally securing victory over visitors Old Redcliffians at Leicester Road.
The game couldn’t have started any better for the visitors when, after only 43 seconds, Sam Rees gathered a loose ball to run in unopposed, with Ashley Groves converting.
Old Redcliffians extended their lead after 13 minutes thanks to a longrange Groves penalty.
It took until the 27th minute for Hinckley to register a score when Ben Pointon finished from the back of a maul.
