AFTER last week’s rare victorious trip to Cornwall, Clifton were brought down to earth with a bump by a well organised and effective Luctonian team.
Clifton suffered their first home defeat of the season in a match where well-rehearsed set-pieces dominated.
Luctonians’ Hackley opened the score from a lineout catch and drive (converted by Louis Silver). Clifton repelled attacks for 35 more minutes and the half finished with the first-time visitors to Station Road a score ahead.
