Last week I mistakenly said that Munster got thumped 33-6 by London in their warm up game for the All Blacks in 1978 when in fact it was Middlesex who won that day at Sudbury, Wasps’ old ground. Munster, it should be noted, fielded the same XV that defeated New Zealand just over a month later.
