Armstrong agrees early Bears release

RUGBY SHORTS

Tighthead Jake Armstrong has left Bristol Bears with immediate effect. Armstrong, 28, spent four and a half seasons at Bristol, making 32 appearances, but leaves the club after agreeing to an early release from his contract.
Director of rugby Pat Lam said: “We are grateful to Jake for his contribution during his time at Bristol. He departs with our best wishes and can be proud of what he has achieved as a foundation Bear.”
